LabelQuick privacy policy

LabelQuick is a browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox that turns a product spreadsheet you choose into printable label sheets. This policy describes exactly what it does with data.

Your spreadsheet

• You choose a CSV or Excel file. LabelQuick reads it inside the extension's own page on your computer.
• The file is never uploaded. LabelQuick makes no network requests: no server, no API, no cloud storage.
• Your product rows (names, SKUs, prices, barcodes, quantities) are kept in memory only while the LabelQuick tab is open. They are never written to disk or browser storage. Closing the tab or opening another file discards them.
• Printing uses the browser's own print dialog. What happens after that is between your browser, your operating system and your printer.

What LabelQuick stores

LabelQuick saves your preferences in the browser's local extension storage on your device, so the next session starts with the same choices:

• the label sheet, label style, text size and which fields are shown;
• barcode format, price display and currency;
• a short fingerprint (a 32-bit hash) of each column heading you matched to a field, so the next file with the same headings is matched the same way. The heading text itself is not stored.

"Reset settings" at the bottom of the LabelQuick page deletes these preferences. Uninstalling the extension deletes them too.

What LabelQuick does not do

• It does not read the web pages you visit, your tabs or your browsing history. It has no host permissions and injects no scripts into websites.
• It contains no analytics, telemetry, advertising or tracking.
• It loads no remote code, fonts or images.
• It does not sell, share or transfer any data, because no data leaves your device.

Permissions

LabelQuick requests one permission, "storage", used only for the preferences listed above.

Changes

If a future version changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the effective date above will change.
